My baker’s name is Harry

Type Design Harry-Brot

Everything that’s written creates identity. The own typeface makes Harry-Brot unmistakable. It transports the ideas and values of the bakery. The uniqueness sets Harry-Brot apart from its competitors and becomes the company’s trademark.

Black Letters

Harry-Type is a semi-sans serif. It is unfussy and robust, modern but not fashionable, at the same time filigree and striking. Their details complement each other to form an expressive face and characterize Harry’s appearance. Their clear shapes sharpen the brand profile.

The striking feature of a black letter are the recurring forms from which all letters can be formed. This canon of forms was transferred into a design concept, from which the skeleton of the Harry-Type can be formed. So it inherits the characteristics of a black letter type.

The distinct contrast comes from writing with a broad pen. Their grey value comes close to a texture and leads to an elegant and distinctive typeface in word, line and column.
